The role requires an active MA RN license, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to develop and deliver education for all staff while supporting admissions and nursing workflows.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active MA RN license.
• Experience as Staff Development Coordinator or Infection Preventionist preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and provide education and training programs for new and existing employees.
• Conduct employee orientation and ongoing in-service education to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized education records, competency validations, and required documentation.
• Assist with admissions as needed and support the nursing department's overall workflow and resident care units.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and promote continuous staff development.
• Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements and clinical competencies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through education, coaching, and staff development.
