Job summary

Cape Cod Post Acute and Healthcare Center in Brewster, MA is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator Infection Preventionist to lead education and competency programs for clinical staff. The role supports admissions and coordinates training to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

The SDC will collaborate with nursing leadership, maintain education records, and drive quality improvement through targeted training, coaching, and ongoing staff development in a busy long-term

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Experience as Staff Development Coordinator or Infection Preventionist preferred.
• Strong relationships, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and staff competency requirements.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational initiatives and competency programs for clinical staff.
• Develop, coordinate, and provide education and training for employees.
• Maintain education records, validations, and required documentation.
• Assist with admissions and support nursing department workflows.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and clinical competencies.
