Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• CPR certification
• IPC training and ongoing education
• Experience with geriatrics preferred
• State required certifications (e.g., TB nurse)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and prevent Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) and Community Acquired Infections (CAI) in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze HAI data; present findings and recommendations.
• Serve as on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention and response per CDC guidance.
• Develop and oversee Antibiotic Stewardship Program; ensure compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of infection control trends and applicable regulations.
