Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Antioch, TN is seeking an RN Infection Preventionist to lead infection prevention and control across the facility. You will monitor HAIs/CAIs, analyze data, educate staff, residents, and families, and report outcomes to leadership.

Qualifications

Nursing diploma or higher is required.
Current RN license in good standing is required.
CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.
Specialized Infection Prevention and Control training prior to assuming role.
Prior geriatrics experience preferred.
State-required IPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

Monitor Public Health Advisories from local, state, and federal agencies including CDC.
Serve as on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention and response activities.
Work onsite at the Life Care Centers of America facility.
Develop and lead Antibiotic Stewardship Program.
Maintain current knowledge of infection control trends and employee health practices.
Implement and interpret Infection Prevention and Control programs and policies.
