Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation in Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead the nursing center's IPCP across multiple locations. You will act as practitioner, resource and educator, focusing on infection control activities, surveillance, outbreak management, and employee health.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure, specialized IPC training within 90 days of hire, and a minimum of three years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) across multiple locations.
• Provide infection prevention and control training during new hire orientation.
• Develop, implement, monitor and maintain IPCP to ensure quality of care.
• Educate staff and respond to infection control needs identified through QAPI, rounding or quality measures.
