A leading healthcare provider in Knoxville is seeking an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to uphold IPC practices, educate staff, and ensure compliance with health regulations. This full-time position offers a structured day shift and involves significant interaction with both staff and patients.
Infection Prevention and Control Nurse
Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
This role involves maintaining clinical competency through application of nursing knowledge, leadership, and communication skills. The nurse will organize workflow to uphold IPC practices, integrate current standards and regulations, and engage in continuous quality improvement and problem-solving.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current, unencumbered license in the state of employment. IPC Certification must be obtained within six months of hiring.
2-5 years as an LPN or RN required; infection control and/or risk management experience preferred.
Our campus hosts a 166-bed post-acute skilled nursing facility serving individuals post-stroke, joint replacement, cardiac procedures, or serious illnesses.
