Maple Farm is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead our IPCP, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff while preventing infections. You will coordinate surveillance, report incidents, and implement precautions across the facility.

The role requires nursing licensure (LPN/RN) and specialized IPC training, with strong education skills and proficiency in Excel/Word to track infections and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse required.
• Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Able to educate at all levels of learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility's infection prevention and control program to prevent spread of infections.
• Monitor surveillance to identify possible infections among residents and staff.
• Develop and implement transmission-based precautions and isolation guidance.
• Educate staff on hand hygiene and IPC practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to set annual IPC goals.
