Maple Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Kingston, PA is seeking an experienced Infection Control Preventionist (ICP) to lead our Infection Prevention and Control Program. This full-time, on-site role focuses on surveillance, education, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement to protect residents and staff.

The ICP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary leadership team, oversee outbreak investigations, and ensure adherence to CDC, CMS, OSHA standards and best practices through

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current PA RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• CIP certification or willingness to obtain within required timeframe.
• Previous infection prevention or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, teaching, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and implement best practices.
• Must meet health screening, background, and drug screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, Department of Health, and local regulations.
• Review, revise, and implement infection prevention policies based on evidence-based practices.
• Monitor surveillance data, identify trends, and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain records of infections, exposures, outbreaks, and reportable diseases; coordinate outbreak investigations.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Precautions and Transmission-Based Precautions.
