Lifepoint Health is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to coordinate and evaluate the organization's infection prevention program. You will collect and analyze healthcare-associated infection data, develop goals, and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires nursing or clinical laboratory credentials, strong critical thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Requires RN or MLT/MT (ASCP) or MLT/MT (AMT) or MLT/MT (HEW) or CLT (NCA).
• Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN) required or AS in Clinical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN) preferred or BS in Clinical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development and evaluation of the infection prevention and control strategies, policies, and planning.
• Collects and analyzes healthcare-acquired infection data including risk assessment and outcomes analysis.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with regulations and organizational objectives.
• Monitors local, state and federal regulations and ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory standards.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols; assists with educational resources and initiatives.
