Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in infection prevention, epidemiology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates infection prevention and control program.
• Conducts active surveillance of infections and reports data trends.
• Presents infection data to medical staff committees and leadership.
• Analyzes infection rates using national benchmarks to identify improvements.
• Collaborates to develop policies and procedures reducing infection risks.
• Educates staff on hand hygiene, PPE, and infection control practices.
• Oversees employee immunization and TB testing programs.
• Manages follow-up for staff exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Investigates outbreaks and coordinates containment measures with departments and agencies.
• Partners with Laboratory for timely reporting of infectious diseases.
