Job summary

Avantara Pierre is seeking an Infection Control nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. You will support the clinical department by educating staff and enforcing infection control policies to prevent outbreaks and ensure a high standard of care for residents.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Nursing, an unencumbered SD RN license, and CPR certification. Five years of RN experience with one year in infection control is preferred; we offer competitive wages and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or related field is required.
• Unencumbered State of SD RN license and CPR Certification.
• Five years of RN experience and at least one year in infection control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce infection control policies and procedures.
• Identify, control and prevent outbreaks; educate staff and act as infection control resource.
