Avantara Joliet seeks an Infection Preventionist RN to join our team in Joliet, IL. You will lead infection control initiatives, educate staff, and help develop, implement and enforce policies to prevent outbreaks and protect residents.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and 5 years of RN experience with 2–3 years in infection control. Avantara Joliet is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field required.
• Illinois RN license required; CPR Certification preferred.
• Five (5) years of RN experience with 2–3 years in infection control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce infection control procedures across the facility.
• Serve as infection control resource for staff, residents and families.
