Job summary

Discovery Kidzone is hiring an Infant & Toddler Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging space for babies and toddlers. No previous childcare experience required, with onboarding and ongoing professional development provided.

You will build strong relationships, support daily routines, document milestones, and communicate with families while pursuing Montana licensing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Caring, patient, dependable, and attentive.
• Interest in infant and toddler development.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Willing to complete Montana licensing training and obtain CPR/First Aid within 30 days if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and play.
• Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures.
• Create engaging experiences through music, sensory activities, books, movement, and play.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Maintain a calm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's daily activities and milestones.
• Communicate professionally with families about routines, progress, and milestones.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support a successful classroom.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment.

What You'll Do

As an Infant & Toddler Teacher, you'll help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel secure and excited to learn.

You’ll:

• Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience to join our team. We're looking for someone who is:

• At least 16 years old
• Caring, patient, dependable, and attentive
• Interested in infant and toddler development
• Positive and comfortable working as part of a team
• Organized and able to stay calm in a busy classroom
• A strong communicator
• Willing to learn and complete required Montana licensing training
• CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not required. Paid training is provided!
