Horizons for Homeless Children in Boston, MA, is seeking an experienced Teacher Infant and Toddler to supervise a classroom and implement a daily curriculum for children experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Display knowledge of early childhood development.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum.
• Practice positive behavior management techniques in guiding children’s behavior.
• Inform parents of classroom curriculum plans and progress reports.
• Complete children’s progress reports and participate in parent conferences.
• Assist in plans for and attending Parent-Teacher functions.
• Communicate openly with the classroom team and Family Advocates to support families.
