WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING
  • Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess the developmental needs of students.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
  • Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
  • Serve and monitor meals.
  • Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing.
  • Supervise children during nap time.
  • Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry.
WHAT’S REQUIRED
  • Pass a background check.
  • Proof of Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing.
  • Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing.
  • Negative TB test.
  • High school diploma or equivalency. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses.
  • Infant/Toddler ECE course (3 units or more).
  • 1 year of teaching experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
  • Must be willing to change diapers and potty train.
  • Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • CPR & First Aid.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
