Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an enthusiastic individual to supervise and coordinate preschool classroom activities. You will ensure the classroom meets Head Start performance standards and state licensing regulations while planning developmentally appropriate activities.

The ideal candidate holds an Infant-Toddler CDA or equivalent, possesses strong communication skills, and is committed to the safety and growth of all children. A valid driver’s license and availability of a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA or equivalent qualification.
• Must meet NJ and PA licensing standards.
• Must have a car available daily.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate assigned classroom activities.
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children.
• Observe and document children's growth and development.
• Ensure safety of all children in the classroom.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports.
• Involve parents in educational planning sessions.
• Conduct home visits and parent/teacher conferences.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.
