Job summary

Celebree School seeks qualified educators for full-time positions (30+ hours/week). We are dedicated to protecting, educating, and nurturing children, with benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid holidays, and professional growth opportunities.

You will manage classrooms in line with MSDE-OCC, create lesson plans, communicate with parents, and support children's development. An AA in ECE or higher and MD Level 5 credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Early Childhood Education or higher.
• MD state credential Level 5 or higher.
• 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum Planning plus 45 clock hrs Infant/Toddler Training or 90 clock hrs Infant/Toddler Development and Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Manages classroom ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains attractive and current classroom displays and a Parent Board updated regularly.
• Creates and implements lesson plans that are age appropriate, aligns with weekly themes and Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assists and supervises children during activities and uses positive discipline techniques.
• Ensures classroom cleanliness and safety; completes paperwork such as Sunshine Reports, attendance, etc.
• Communicates with parents regularly with updates on development and happenings.
