The role requires an AA in Early Childhood Education or higher, MD Level 5 credential, and relevant training hours, with benefits and opportunities for growth within Celebree.

Formación

• AA degree in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred.
• 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum Planning OR 90 clock hrs in Infant/Toddler Development and Curriculum.
• Nine clock hrs of communication training with staff, parents, and the public if no college coursework.

Responsabilidades

• Manages classroom, ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Maintains attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational Parent Board updated regularly.
• Creates and implements thorough, timely lesson plans by weekly themes and Celebree’s curriculum; manages transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during activities; counsels children with positive discipline techniques.
• Ensures cleanliness and safety of the classroom. Completes Sunshine Reports, accident reports, attendance records.
• Communicates with parents, greeting by name, addressing concerns, giving feedback, updates on development and happenings.
• Identifies opportunities or problems and works with staff to resolve them.

Educación

AA degree in Early Childhood Education

MD state credential Level 5
