Celebree School in Maryland is seeking an experienced Child Care Teacher to manage a classroom, ensure compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for children and families.

You will plan age-appropriate lessons, maintain displays, and communicate regularly with parents. A degree in Early Childhood Education or related credentials are preferred, with eligible MD Level 5 credential.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred.
• 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum Planning or 90 clock hrs Infant/Toddler Development.
• MD state credential Level 5 required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages classroom ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards.
• Provides a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains displays and an updated Parent Board with educational information.
• Creates and implements age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree curriculum.
• Assists and supervises children; uses positive discipline techniques.
• Ensures classroom appearance, cleanliness and safety are maintained.
• Completes classroom paperwork (Sunshine Reports, accidents, attendance).
• Communicates with parents regularly about development and happenings.
• Identifies opportunities/problems and works with staff to resolve.
