Celebree Schools in Maryland is hiring a full-time teacher for our child care program. You will manage a classroom, create engaging lesson plans, and maintain a welcoming environment for children and families.

Responsibilities include documenting daily activities, coordinating with staff, and providing updates to parents about development and classroom happenings. State credential Level 5 and related training are required.

Qualifications

• Requires AA degree in Early Childhood Education or higher.
• MD state credential Level 5 or higher is required.
• Experience creating age-appropriate lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages classroom ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains attractive and current classroom displays and an educational Parent Board.
• Creates and implements timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and aligned with Celebree curriculum.
• Assists and supervises children during activities; uses positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the classroom.
• Completes daily reports, accident reports, attendance records.
• Communicates with parents with updates on child development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and works with staff to resolve classroom or school issues.
