Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a Teacher to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinate the curriculum, and manage daily classroom operations. You will ensure developmentally appropriate activities and a safe, stimulating environment where children are actively engaged and supported.

You will communicate with children and families, guide assistants, and maintain records to uphold quality. Strong background in early childhood development and leadership is required, along with CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or equivalent as required.
• 48 semester hours with 15 in ECE.
• At least three years of licensed child care experience.
• By Dec 2026, pursuing an associate degree in related field.
• Current Child Care Training Certificates.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• High energy and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Lead by example; coach and support teaching team success.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain regular communications with parents through discussions and conferences.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy, safe classroom environment and proper hygiene.
• Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers following planned activities.
• Keep accurate records, forms and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to improve quality.
