Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for toddlers. You will plan age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional development, and lead the classroom with positive guidance.

You will collaborate with fellow staff, communicate with families, maintain records, and ensure licensing and safety standards are met. This role emphasizes a proactive, energetic classroom leadership style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ECE coursework/degree preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or young children.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to meet childcare licensing and background-check requirements.

Responsabilités

• Create a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and implement daily activities supporting toddlers' development.
• Follow an age-appropriate curriculum and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Establish consistent daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and transitions.
• Supervise children at all times and maintain health and safety standards.
• Observe and document developmental progress and share with families and administration.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers.
• Communicate regularly with families about daily activities and needs.
• Guide children's behavior with positive, developmentally appropriate techniques.
• Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance, and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to ensure consistent practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow center policies, licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Serve as a positive role model for children and staff.
