Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional child care experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• A solid understanding of child development.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check and health screening.
• Associate's Degree in early childhood education with at least 30 credits in ECE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities aligned with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Lead by example; mentor and coach teaching staff.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and conferences.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are followed.
• Maintain a healthy, safe classroom environment and hygiene standards.
• Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure adherence to activities and safety.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Pursue ongoing personal professional development to drive quality improvement.
