Job summary

Greenbush’s Infant Toddler Program seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to join a transdisciplinary team serving families enrolled in the Infant Toddler Program in Kansas. The role focuses on coordinating services and delivering integrated supports as outlined by Part C guidelines.

Responsibilities include conducting home visits, developing IFSPs, coordinating resources, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and team members to promote developmental outcomes for infants and

Qualifications

  • Must hold Kansas licensure or certification in Social Work (MSW) or related field (Early Childhood Special Education, Nursing, PT, OT, SLP).
  • Valid Kansas driver's license.
  • Experience in a special education setting with infants/toddlers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake and screening visits at the family's home, childcare, or other setting.
  • Work as a transdisciplinary team member to serve eligible infants and toddlers.
  • Participate in team evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and developmental strengths.
  • Develop IFSPs with families based on identified priorities.
  • Provide Family Service coordination and mobilize community resources.
  • Collaborate with community resources for assigned families.
  • Complete documentation for accountability, billing, data entry, and communication.
  • Deliver home- and community-based intervention using a coaching model.
  • Monitor parent-child progress toward goals.
