Job summary

Keystone Learning Services seeks an Early Interventionist-Physical Therapist to support the Infant Toddler Services of Northeast Kansas. You will work on a transdisciplinary team, providing services in families’ homes or natural settings under Kansas Part C guidelines.

The role emphasizes IFSP development, collaboration with families and colleagues, and ongoing professional growth in early intervention practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Kansas licensure or certification within discipline.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license.
• Preferred: Experience in a special education setting and working with infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate developmental skills for children in the Infant Toddler program.
• Provide direct and consultation services in the child’s home or natural setting.
• Collaborate with team members for evaluation information and planning services.
• Develop and implement an IFSP for each child, guiding transition to Part B.
• Assist families with appointments, opportunities, housing, employment, and related supports.
• Recruit families to the program through community partnerships.
• Follow the Mission and Principles of Infant Toddler Services of Kansas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in early intervention.
