Job summary

Kid In Development Services, LLC (KIDS) is seeking a qualified Early Intervention Specialist to provide home and community-based services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk. The role focuses on family coaching, IFSP development, and ongoing assessment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year of experience with infants/toddlers or birth-to-5 children with disabilities. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of documented experience working with infants and toddlers OR children birth to 5 years with disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed education areas and related credentials as required by BabyNet.
• Must submit an application to the TECS office and meet BabyNet Credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a minimum caseload of eighteen (18) clients/families (if full-time).
• Provides early intervention services in the natural environment (home, daycare, community settings) to infants and toddlers from birth to three years old.
• Conducts comprehensive family and child assessments that drive individualized service delivery.
• Provides coaching and support to families and caregivers to enhance child’s learning opportunities.
• Creates learning opportunities throughout the child’s day with families.
• Gives information on current research and evidence-based practices.
• Takes anecdotal notes and writes reports on child’s development and progress.
• Develops IFSP goals/outcomes with IFSP team and monitors IFSPs per BabyNet policies.
• Submits routine documentation and maintains confidential records as required by DHHS and KIDS policies.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; travels within the territory as needed.
