Job summary

Sunflower Diversified Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Infant Toddler Program. The OT will work on a transdisciplinary team, providing direct and consultative services to enrolled families in Kansas, and will coach other team members in evidence-based practices within their scope of practice.

The role requires Kansas OT licensure, a master’s or doctoral degree, and ongoing certifications in safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must maintain current First Aid/CPR, HIPAA, BBP, Abuse/Neglect/Ethics and OSHA certifications.
• Valid Kansas Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Family Service Coordinator certificate obtained after hire.
• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate developmental skills of children in the infant-toddler program.
• Provide direct and consultative services to families per the Kansas Infant Toddler Services guidelines.
• Develop and implement IFSPs for each child in the program.
• Coordinate with the transdisciplinary team and provide coaching within scope of practice.
• Maintain timely documentation and confidentiality (FERPA/HIPAA).
• Attend meetings and trainings as directed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with community partners to recruit families into the program.
