Job summary

KIDS is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to serve infants and toddlers with developmental delays or risks in Charleston, SC. The role involves delivering services in the child’s natural environment, coaching families, and documenting progress for each plan.

The candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain confidential records, and travel within the territory as needed. A related degree and experience with BabyNet are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/degree in the listed education areas or equivalent
• Experience with infants/toddlers birth to 5 with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of BabyNet and IFSP processes beneficial

Responsibilities

• Maintains a minimum caseload of 18 clients/families (if full-time).
• Provides early intervention services in home, daycare, or community settings.
• Coaches and supports families to enhance child learning in natural environments.
• Writes progress notes and reports on child development.
• Develops IFSP goals with families and monitors them per DHHS and KIDS policies.
