About Play LLC is hiring an Early Intervention Specialist to serve Charleston, North Charleston, and Summerville in South Carolina. You will provide family-centered early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in homes, daycares, or natural environments.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of experience; prior early interventionist experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field, plus 1 year of experience.
- Prior early interventionist/teaching experience preferred or recent graduate with willingness for on-the-job training.
- Must reside in South Carolina for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Perform Family Training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment setting
- Provide training, education, and support to families in the areas of child development, parenting, and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
- Monitor the progress of the child and family.
