Job summary

About Play is seeking an Early Interventionist to support families with infants and toddlers across Columbia, Lexington, Newberry, Kershaw, and Fairfield counties in South Carolina. You will deliver family-centered services in home or natural settings and coach caregivers to promote child development.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have 1 year of experience with children aged birth to six.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six.
Experience in early intervention, teaching, or child development preferred.
Willingness for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
Perform family training with caregiver and child in home, daycare or natural environment.
Provide training and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
Monitor progress of child and family.
