Job summary

The Oregon Head Start Association seeks a full-time Center Manager to lead a Head Start center in Oregon. You will supervise staff and volunteers, monitor records, and ensure yearly site plans are developed and updated, while supporting staff prioritization and performance.

You must have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, plus minimum two years of ECE classroom teaching and two years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in ECE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with coursework equivalent to a major relating to ECE.
• Minimum 2 years ECE classroom teaching experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports center staff and volunteers; maintains required records and annual site plans.
• Engages families and coordinates enrollment, family events, and community partnerships; provides coverage as needed.
• Orders and maintains center supplies; handles purchasing reviews and monthly reports.
• Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.
