Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a seasoned leader to manage county operations, ensuring Head Start standards and local regulations are met. You will coordinate program services, budgets, facilities, and staff development while fostering strong community partnerships.

This role requires experience in supervisory management within non-profit or Head Start settings, with travel as needed and a commitment to serving migrant and low-income families in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, business, or a closely related field, with at least 4 years of supervisory/management experience.
• OR AA/AS degree in ECE with at least 6 years of supervisory/administrative experience and obtaining level four of the professional registry within six months.
• Must pass Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR) and a agency-sponsored physical examination; TB test documented.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement local work plans, systems, and procedures.
• Oversee data collection and PIR reporting; conduct community assessments.
• Monitor service areas and drive program improvements; coordinate with Central Office staff.
• Develop and implement program improvement plans and ensure cross-area collaboration.
• Establish safe and compliant center operations and certification processes.
• Coordinate staffing, budgeting, facilities, procurement, and safety with Central Office support.
