Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Center Supervisor to coordinate daily Center activities and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. You will supervise Center staff, arrange coverage, assist with enrollment, and collaborate with Education Manager on placement and program planning, while maintaining a safe, supportive environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in Early Childhood Education or closely related field required.
• Or High School Diploma/GED with 1 year classroom experience with supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of child development is required.
• Enrollment in Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR) is required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily Center activities.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage.
• Facilitate enrollment information to teachers and families.
• Assist with CCD certification process and staff training.
• Conduct site inspections and safety checks.
• Provide information and tours to parents.
• Maintain center information binders and monthly reports.
• Participate in hiring and orientation of new staff.
