Job summary

Community Action Program Committee, Inc. is seeking a Center Director to lead one or more Head Start centers, ensuring high-quality instruction and compliant operations.

Reporting to the Director of Education, you will supervise staff, manage daily classroom activities, and uphold staff-to-child ratios across programs. The role requires a Bachelor's in ECE, Infant/Toddler certification, a Director's Credential, and a minimum two years of supervisory experience in Head Start or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field with a minimum of 18 ECE credits and Infant/Toddler Certification.
• Two years of supervisory experience in Head Start or related field are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of center(s) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise staff and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
• Coordinate with Nutrition, Family Engagement, Health, ERSEA, Safety, Maintenance and Transportation.
