Job summary

The Learning Experience in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring an Infant Teacher to support babies' early milestones in a warm, nurturing classroom setting. You will follow the LEAP curriculum, provide attentive care, and partner with families and colleagues to ensure consistent routines.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers competitive pay ($17.00–$18.00/hour) based on experience, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA, ECE coursework, or related credentials are a plus.
• Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care in a safe and nurturing Infant classroom.
• Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through age-appropriate activities.
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, and early language experiences.
• Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health procedures.
• Observe developmental milestones and document classroom activities.
• Build relationships with families and communicate regularly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys providing attentive, nurturing care while helping infants explore their surroundings, develop new skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the day.

From tummy time and sensory play to first sounds and movements, you'll play an important role in each child's earliest learning experiences.

What You'll Do
