Job summary

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick, NJ is seeking an Infant Teacher to nurture babies, support early development, and create a warm, responsive classroom.

You will implement the LEAP Curriculum, follow feeding and care routines, and collaborate with families and the center leadership.

This full-time role pays $17-$18 per hour, with paid training and opportunities for advancement; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in infant childcare preferred.
• CDA or related credentials are a plus.
• Knowledge of infant development and responsive caregiving is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom environment.
• Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, music, movement, language, and age-appropriate play.
• Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
• Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and progress.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Pay: $17-$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is looking for a nurturing and dependable Infant Teacher who loves helping babies grow, explore, and reach their earliest developmental milestones.

Our Infant Teachers create a warm, responsive environment where every child receives individualized attention, loving care, and meaningful early learning experiences. From tummy time and sensory exploration to first sounds and movements, you'll help our youngest learners build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom environment

• Knowledge of infant development and responsive caregiving


• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented


• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
