Job summary

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring a caring Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will provide attentive care for babies, follow daily routines, and help infants explore their surroundings in a nurturing environment.

Join a supportive teaching team, implement age-appropriate activities, and partner with families to support each child's milestones in a licensed center in East Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework or related credentials are a plus.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care in an infant classroom.
• Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through age-appropriate activities.
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, and early language experiences.
• Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
• Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Observe developmental milestones and maintain classroom documentation.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Location: The Learning Experience - East Brunswick, NJ

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

We're looking for someone who enjoys providing attentive, nurturing care while helping infants explore their surroundings, develop new skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the day.

From tummy time and sensory play to first sounds and movements, you'll play an important role in each child's earliest learning experiences.

What You'll Do
