Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a nurturing Infant Teacher to join our Infant classroom. The role focuses on safe, loving care for babies, supporting milestones and daily routines with a supportive teaching team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous professional childcare/early childhood experience preferred.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care for infants in our Infant B classroom.
• Support feeding, diapering, naps, and daily care routines.
• Follow safe sleep practices and maintain a clean, safe classroom.
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, language, and exploration.
• Implement age-appropriate activities from The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Encourage early communication, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is looking for a nurturing, dependable Infant Teacher to join our Infant classroom!
