Job summary

The Learning Experience in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring an Infant Teacher to nurture babies and support their earliest developmental milestones. This full‑time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay.

You will implement the LEAP curriculum, document milestones, and partner with families and staff to create a warm, engaging classroom that promotes growth and learning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Previous childcare/early childhood education experience preferred.
• CDA, ECE coursework, or related credentials preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and responsive caregiving.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team‑oriented.
• Must meet NJ childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom environment.
• Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, music, movement, language, and age-appropriate play.
• Support physical, cognitive, language, and social‑emotional development.
• Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and progress.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is looking for a nurturing and dependable Infant Teacher who loves helping babies grow, explore, and reach their earliest developmental milestones.

Our Infant Teachers create a warm, responsive environment where every child receives individualized attention, loving care, and meaningful early learning experiences. From tummy time and sensory exploration to first sounds and movements, you'll help our youngest learners build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
