Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking an Infant Teacher to join our Infant classroom. You will provide nurturing, attentive care for babies, support feeding, diapering, naps, and daily routines, and help create a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment.

You will use our L.E.A.P. Curriculum to plan age-appropriate activities, encourage early communication and motor skills, and collaborate with a dedicated teaching team and center leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional childcare, daycare, or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care for infants in our Infant B classroom.
• Support feeding, diapering, naps, and daily care routines.
• Follow safe sleep practices and maintain a clean, safe classroom.
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, language, and exploration.
• Implement age-appropriate activities from The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Encourage early communication, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is looking for a nurturing, dependable Infant Teacher to join our Infant classroom! During their first years, children experience incredible growth and development. We're looking for someone who loves working with babies, celebrates their milestones, and understands the importance of creating a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment.
