Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom, serving children around 2–2.5 years old. You will implement the LEAP curriculum and help children develop essential skills through play.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, patience, and a passion for early childhood education, with a full-time Monday-Friday schedule and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Toddlers/2-year-olds experience preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2–2.5.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Assist with toileting, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom, serving children approximately 2-2.5 years old.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping young children develop independence, build friendships, strengthen communication skills, and discover the joy of learning through play.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5

• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred
• Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach
• Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working with young children
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
