Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Must be able to sit on the floor or crouch to child eye level

Responsibilities

• Lead the class: implement the school curriculum, assess developmental needs, and report lesson plans
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging classroom environment
• Nurture physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth
• Provide physical care such as feeding, diapering, potty training, and self-care training
• Establish positive relationships with families and communicate updates
• Attend monthly staff meetings and collaborate with leadership on classroom issues
• Support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
• Demonstrate professionalism with students, families, peers, and management
• Complete annual trainings per policy handbook requirements
• Children in younger classrooms may require diapering and feeding responsibilities

Education

CDA Degree or Associates Degree or greater in Early Childhood Education or related field
