Job summary

Victory Christian Learning Ctr. seeks an Infant Teacher to implement the Creative Curriculum and Phase Foundations Curriculum, nurture children's development, and maintain a safe, healthy classroom.

The Lead Teacher will assess developmental needs, report progress, and partner with families while collaborating with age-level teams to support enrollment and accreditation goals. This role requires caregiving and classroom management in a faith-based early education setting.

Qualifications

• CDA degree or AA in early childhood education or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience.
• No criminal record or child-related offenses.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and move between floor level and standing.
• Ability to work on the floor with children and clean/maintain classroom equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class: implement the school curriculum and assess developmental needs.
• Regularly report classroom lesson plans and progress.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment and support play, exploration, and learning.
• Provide care needs such as feeding and diapering as required.
• Establish positive relationships with families and participate in staff meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams on classroom issues and enrollment goals.
