Job summary

Calvary Day School in Savannah, GA seeks caring infants’ caregivers to provide attentive, loving care in a Christ-centered environment. You will help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and support infants’ developmental needs while communicating with families and staff.

The role requires adhering to health and safety regulations, implementing daily routines, and participating in trainings and school events. A CDA/degree in Early Childhood Education plus CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or CDA/TCC or degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Meet Georgia state background check requirements.
• Infant care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Calm, multitasking, professional under pressure.

Our Mission
Calvary provides a Christ-centered education from Infant–12th grade, focusing on the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Inspired by Luke 2:52, we aim to help children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and others.
The Calvary Early Learning Center partners with Calvary Day School to prepare children for success through learning and play. We are seeking reliable, conscientious candidates to care for our infants in a Christian school environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants, ensuring safety, comfort, and growth.
• Create/Maintain a warm, clean, and engaging classroom environment, common-use and playground area.
• Support infants’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Communicate positively with families and coworkers.
• Follow all school, state, and licensing health and safety regulations.
• Implement daily routines and age-appropriate curriculum activities.
• Attend meetings, training, and school functions.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
