Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Chicago is seeking an Associate for our Investment Banking Division, focusing on Industrials. You will develop client relationships, join advisory teams and help structure and execute transactions.

You will build and analyze financial models, prepare client presentations, and coordinate due diligence with tax and legal teams. You’ll gain exposure to mergers, acquisitions and equity/debt issuances while developing key analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work across groups and regions.
• Previous Industrials sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships, participate on advisory teams and structure/execute transactions.
• Create and analyze financial models and organize client presentations.
• Coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys and bankers for transactions; lead due diligence.
• Gain exposure to the firm's businesses and enhance analytical, communications and marketing skills.
