Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners in Chicago is seeking an Associate 1 or Associate 2 to join its Industrials team, delivering M&A advisory and debt-raisings for public and private companies and financial sponsors.

You will work on focused deal teams with direct client exposure from day one, handling valuation, CIMs, due diligence, and relationships with senior bankers, corporate clients, and investors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (investment banking background preferred).
• FINRA licenses SIE, Series 63, Series 79 required.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation analysis in Excel required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Industrials sector experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications

• Investment banking background with Industrials M&A experience (strong preference for closed deals)
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation analysis expertise in Excel

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented work style with proven analytical capabilities
• Current or recent Industrials sector experience strongly preferred
