Job summary

IDEMIA Group is seeking a role responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating production materials, equipment, and technologies before mass production. You will lead investment studies, coordinate tech transfer, and ensure documentation across sites.

The position involves qualification phases, ramp-ups, and ongoing support to manufacturing with a focus on cost reduction and quality improvement. Strong collaboration with management is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and supports investment cases with technical, economic and capacity studies
  • Presents investment cases to management
  • Writes technical specs from customer requirements and project docs
  • Executes acceptance qualification including ramp-up at supplier and IDEMIA sites
  • Anticipates tests, measures and docs during qualification
  • Coordinates process and technology transfer between sites
  • Manages the process/tech/equipment life cycle from checks to obsolescence
  • Oversees operational project milestones and risk analysis with regular updates
  • Ensures production sites have necessary documentation
  • Supports manufacturing for problem solving when relevant
  • Identifies and propagates best practices to reduce costs and improve quality
  • Provides expertise on a critical manufacturing process
  • Defines and deploys qualified technology autonomously
  • Defines and deploys new technology under supervision
  • Manages projects with milestones, risks and timely delivery within budget
  • Supports investment cases with technical/economic/capacity studies
  • Participates in life cycle from techno watch to obsolescence
  • Supports manufacturing for problem solving when relevant

Purpose

This role is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of production materials, equipment, and technologies before conducting mass production.

Key Missions
  • Builds and supports investment cases by carrying out technical, economic and capacity studies
  • Argues and presents these investment cases to the management
  • Writes technical specification based on customer requirements as well as all related project documentation
  • Carries out the acceptance qualification phases including ramp-up at the supplier and IDEMIA sites by anticipating and implementing the necessary tests, measures and technical documentations
  • Coordinates process and technology transfer between sites
  • Participates to the process, technology and equipment life cycle from technological check ups to obsolescence
  • Manages the project at operational level with key milestones, risk analysis and regular reporting to ensure project delivery within approved timelines and budget
  • Ensures necessary documentation is available to production sites
  • Supports manufacturing for problem solving when relevant
  • Identifies and propagates best practices to reduce overall costs and improve quality
  • Provides an expertise on a critical process
  • Defines and deploys a qualified technology in autonomy
  • Defines and deploys new technology under supervsion
  • Manages projects at operational level with key milestones, risk analysis and regular reporting to ensure project delivery within approved timelines and budget in autonomy
