Job summary

Arkema Inc is looking for an Industrialization Process Engineer in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate pilot and scale-up phases for industrialization projects. Ideal candidates will have a Chemical Engineering or Materials Science degree and at least 5 years of experience in R&D or Manufacturing. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with R&D teams to meet customer specifications.

Abouttherole:

AsanIndustrializationProcessEngineer,you'llcontributetotheGroup'ssuccessby:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the pilot and scale-up phases for two of our industrialization projects
  • Ensuring raw materials and product recipes are being recorded in our internal management system prior to pilot activities
  • Building on clear KPI monitoring related to Quality Control
  • Collaborating with R&D teams across the US to effectively manage the projects, identify operating gaps, and deliver the pilot in accordance with customer specifications

Key skills and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • A Chemical Engineering or Materials Science degree with either R&D or Manufacturing/Process development experience. Targeting at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a chemical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in basic statistical analysis (areas such as Quality Control Plans, Gage R&R, etc.).
  • Project management skills - including coordinating across workstreams and planning ahead.
  • Strong communication skills, networking ability, and desire to work in a collaborative team environment
