Job summary

GE Vernova’s Greenville, SC site is seeking a Process Industrialization professional to drive the hand-off from development to production, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
• Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Execute handoffs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets
• Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team
• Supports project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and problem solving
• Support problem solving post deployment
• Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste
• Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes
• Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness
• Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development
• Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiative
