Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is hiring a Workforce Program Specialist to supervise workforce participants and inmate activities at Arizona Correctional Industries sites and in the community.

The role focuses on supervising production, maintaining security, and fostering a safe, efficient work environment while coordinating with program managers and supporting participant credentials near Perryville and Goodyear locations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising workforce participants and inmates on site.
• Ability to manage safety, security, and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and oral communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workforce participants and community work crews at ACI sites.
• Maintain safety and security of participants; conduct searches as needed.
• Oversee production activities and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate with Regional Operations and Workforce Development Managers.
• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Prepare and submit reports on incidents and production outputs.
• Assist participants in obtaining credentials and apprenticeship opportunities.
